malva swim across lake ontario ON AUGUST 10TH MIGUEL VADILLO (MALVA) CROSSED LAKE ONTARIO FROM NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE TO TORONTO. THIS SWIM IS RAISING MONEY TO HELP CHILDREN TO LEARN HOW TO SWIM IN ORGANIZED PROGRAMS AND TO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH POSITIVE LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCES.waiting for the water to warm upAs the evening sunset over Niagara-on-the-lake, August 10th, 2010, Miguel Vadillo waded into the waters of Lake Ontario in a quest to conquer one of the most challenging lake swims in the world.
18 hours 03 minutes and 49 seconds and 52 Km. later, MALVA's crew arrived to Mailyn Bell Park in Toronto.
With that, over 10,000 dollars were raised and more is coming to support swim programs for kids in need in the GTA.
